Suggy
Game made in 12 days for My First Game Jam: Winter 2023.
You play as a sugar cube called Suggy that fell out the sugar bowl and now have to run to sweeten your tea. Collect sugar lumps to get bigger and avoid falling into milk.
This game is my first game and a lot of it I learned during this game jam. For now it's just a few ideas that i believe can be fun. Maybe I'll come back to make it into a real game at some point.
HOW TO PLAY
- Use A and D or arrow keys to move.
- Use Space to jump.

Up and W for jumping is a necessity.
Also a non-mouse method of progressing to the next level.

It needs a little bit of work on physics, but mostly ON SCREEN SIZE with my mac M1 it's a small screen if I wait too much at the end of the level I can't even see and click on the 'next level button'. On the menu the start button is half cut by the screen. (Maybe your lucky day I think I know where your problem is ! Just go to your canvas objects in unity and use the 'scale with screensize option' It should be much better !) Great job for the game !
Hey, thank you. My first update will solve a lot of screen issues and I'll add an options menu so the player can set the resolution they want. Thanks for the tip, probably it will solve a lot of things XD.

Very cute game! The art and music are very suitable for the game, and the idea that you play as a sugar cube and can shrink and grow in size is interesting and fun! I went through all the levels with pleasure, one of my favorite games in this game jam!

Congratulations for the game. It's very cute and fun to play, got me completely entertained. Maybe my suggy likes the milk cup more than the tea hahaha.
